Talking to Barbara today about ideas I had for a class or elective. She pointed out that many of these ideas actually work better integrated into the subject curriculum. Especially in the winter when an energizing activity is welcomed.
I thought I would share these ideas here in the hopes someone might like to plug them into their class.
Anyone interested in collaborating on any of these please let me know. Would these kinds of activities be called experiential learning?
Math (Geometry / statistics)
M&M guess (1 2 3)
Physics
Spaghetti bridge building (1 2 3 4)
Computer science
Lego NXT robotics (1 2 3)
Anyone else have other ideas?
